Features:
J502 is a carbon steel electrode with calcium titanium coating. It can be used for both AC and DC, and can be used for all-position welding. It has excellent welding process performance and mechanical properties, stable arc, little spatter, easy slag removal, and beautiful weld shape.
Usage:
It is mainly used for the welding of low alloy steel structures with a tensile strength level of 490MPa, such as construction rebar and other structural steels such as 16Mn.
Precautions:
Under normal circumstances, the electrode does not need to be baked before welding. When the electrode gets wet, it must be baked at 150-170°C for 0.5-1 hour before use.
